Developers, contractors, architecture and engineering firms navigating digital transformation, AI adoption, or construction technology decisions — and needing senior leadership to translate strategy into delivery.

Companies past early-stage that need senior technology strategy leadership to sharpen product-market fit, structure a technology roadmap, or professionalise how technology decisions get made.

Developers, contractors, architecture and engineering firms making decisions about digital transformation, AI adoption, or construction technology, and needing senior leadership to carry those decisions through to delivery.

Companies with product in market, where the constraint has moved from building the technology to getting the industry to buy it. I have spent most of my career on the other side of that sale, and I use it to sharpen productmarket fit and structure a roadmap the industry will actually adopt.

Working with boards and senior executives to cut through technology noise and reach clear decisions, aligning investment and operating models to long-term business goals. The output is a decision.

Redesigning the workflows that make technology viable at scale, and clearing the bottlenecks that stall adoption before it reaches delivery. This is where strategy meets the field.

Embedding within project teams so technology is applied at the point of delivery, accountable for measurable outcomes: cost certainty, schedule performance, site productivity.
Advisors from the technology side understand software. Advisors from the construction side understand projects. I have operated on both: as a practitioner across architecture, development, and construction; as a product founder building technology for the industry; and as an executive deploying it at scale.
That is a description of a career, not a metaphor. It is the reason I can hold a board conversation about technology investment and be equally useful on the ground where that investment has to perform.

I embed as part of your executive team and hold accountability for the outcome of the work, from the decision through to what gets delivered.

25 years across property development, design, and construction means I arrive understanding the commercial pressures and delivery realities you are working within.

Board-level thinking applied precisely where the bottleneck sits, whether that is the boardroom or the project site.

A six-week sprint or an ongoing engagement. Start focused, scale up, wind down cleanly.

I am an architect by profession, and I have spent more than 25 years working across architecture, property development, construction, and technology. Technology earns its place in the built environment when the benefit is visible from all four positions in the chain.
I was project architect on Kampung Admiralty, named World Building of the Year in 2018. I then spent seven years at Lendlease building digital engineering capability across Asia, starting with BIM and VDC delivery on an S$8Bn project portfolio and ending with a seventy-person business unit funded by a S$20M national research grant. At Paya Lebar Quarter I delivered Singapore’s first full-scale operational digital twin, and and the delivery model proved there became the benchmark for the country’s national IDD framework. I have since served as a Board Director of the Building Construction Authority that administers it.
Inside Lendlease that capability became a product: Podium, a SaaS cloud platform that automates design and production for property developers. I led it from MVP to its first enterprise contract, and co-founded the spin-out from the group as an independent company to raise S$30.4M from investors including Autodesk and Schindler.
I have seen technology specified in one seat and lived with in the others, and I have seen what becomes possible when that gap closes. Closing it is what Frktal does: embedded, accountable leadership that turns technology investment into operational advantage.
I work from inside organisations. Calm under pressure, exacting on standards, and accountable for the outcome rather than the recommendation. Whether the work is board-level strategy or execution on the ground, the method is the same: understand the system, then change it.
I work with a small number of clients at any one time, so every engagement gets my attention rather than a team that scales to meet demand. If your organisation is making technology decisions, building capability, or weighing what fractional leadership would look like in practice, get in touch.
Send me a short note describing the challenge and the kind of support you are looking for. I will respond within 48 hours. One conversation, and I will tell you directly if I am the wrong fit.
